Firefighter Driving Drunk and Joyriding in Firetruck

Canyon County, Idaho sheriff's deputies arrested Winston Goering for drunk driving after taking a fire truck for a joyride.

Sheriff’s deputies called dispatch centers shortly after midnight to investigate where the fire truck with its lights and sirens blaring was heading.  No one knew of any fires, so the deputies pulled the fire truck over and found Goering driving the truck.  Deputies arrested Goering after finding him to be driving under the influence (DUI) at twice the legal limit, and charged him with joy riding and DUI - second.
